Creating a system where employees can air their suggestions will help you gather as much information as you can, and use it to make your business operations better. Regardless of the way you choose to go, remember to encourage maximum participation!

Create leadership teams

In case you want to make decision-making easy and efficient, create leadership teams. This teams will comprise of individuals who will make particular decisions within the organization. For example, you can have one team that focuses on marketing and another that concentrates on value addition.

The people in these teams don’t have to be top managers. Give every employee a place in the decision-making process, and you will be surprised at the level in which productivity will increase.

Take employees surveys

Sometimes, create a survey and send it to your employees to fill. Ensure you include as much information as you can, so that you can use the result to determine the areas your staff are happy with and those that need improvement.

You can send the surveys through email, or you can physically give them to employees and request them to send it within a specific timeframe. If you do it well, you can gather ideas, opinions, and level of satisfaction, and use this information to make decisions that are in the best interest of your business.

Asking employees for suggestions can give you fresh perspectives to make well-informed decisions. Remember, they are the people who interact with clients, and they might have what your existing clients and prospects need. Therefore, they can come up with profitable ideas that you wouldn’t have thought of if you decided to have the ‘boss’ attitude and make all decisions without their input.
