Enjoy Mekong Hostel

Enjoy Mekong Hostel is a centrally located hostel, about a 15-minute walk from Ninh Kieu Wharf. You are close enough to have all the conveniences of the city center, yet far away enough to get away from the constant honks and horns. The rooms are clean, spacious and you will have your own locker to leave behind your valuables as you explore. The common area is great for meeting like-minded travelers and there’s also a computer you can use to upload your holiday pictures, so your friends and family can get jealous.

Moon Moon, your host will ensure you have a pleasant stay and help you organize anything, from onward travel to local tours. The Mekong tour offered here is great—for only USD$8.00, you will have a wonderful cultural experience in the Delta, from sunrise to sunset. A hot water shower and a comfortable night’s sleep awaits after.

Mekong Delta Inn

Mekong Delta Inn offers great value to those traveling on a tight budget and is an excellent choice to stay at for a day or two. You get everything a typical self-respecting hostel would offer here—clean rooms with locks, hot water showers, common space to hang out, free breakfast, and friendly staff who will go out of their way to help you out. The inn was built in 2014, so you can expect the facilities to be pretty new. The location is also fantastic—central, yet hidden and close to many local restaurants.

If you don’t know where to go, your hosts will gladly join you for dinner. If you prefer a home-cooked meal, your hosts will take you to the market to buy fresh ingredients and cook for you. You can even try your hand at cooking some Mekong recipes. The team updates their Facebook page regularly, in which they provide a lot of helpful recommendations on their posts.

Kim Long Hotel, Can Tho

Location-wise you can’t beat this place. it is right in the heart of Ninh Kieu Warf, meaning that sight-seeing, shopping, dining and entertainment venues are very conveniently accessed. There are nine rooms in this budget hotel, with each room being different.

The cheapest rooms (standard) have no windows but come with the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable. If you’re willing to shell out a little more, then opt for the superior rooms—you’ll get a room with a gorgeous riverside view that overlooks the beautifully lit up Can Tho bridge or bustling street view that radiates energy.

Casa Inn Hostel and Coffee

Casa Inn is a brand-new hostel having opened in November 2017. “Luxury hostel” is the best way to describe this place, as everything is pretty much brand new, spotless, comfortable, well-thought-out and well-decorated. The place is very tastefully designed, modern, with green plants everywhere and shelves decorating the walls, and nice little touches that will make you feel at home. The pictures you find online are not exaggerated in any sense and are a perfect representation of what to expect.

The moment you walk inside, you’ll be offered a welcome drink of ice tea and this repeats every time you sit down in the common area, which is a coffee shop. Your host Julie is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She will take you shopping, show you around the area, and even teach you how to cook. The location is also very central. Everything about this place is top-notch, and will certainly make your visit to the Delta extra special.
