When my son James was born, I couldn’t have been more thrilled. He was perfect in every way and we were so blessed. Unfortunately, our time with him was cut short when he passed away just four days later.

We were absolutely devastated and heartbroken. The doctors told us that he had a rare condition called Trisomy 18, which caused him to have multiple birth defects and ultimately led to his death. Although it’s been almost two years since James passed away, I still think about him every day.

I am so grateful for the time we had together and cherish all of the memories we made. He was such a special little boy who touched so many lives, even though he was only here for a short time.

We are all heartbroken over the loss of Baby James Nicholas. We don’t know exactly what happened, but we do know that he died from a rare and incurable disease. We are grateful for the time we had with him and we will never forget him.

How Old is Baby James?

As of July 2020, Baby James is 11 months old.

What Ever Happened to Baby James?

On June 10, 1985, James Bulger, a two-year-old boy from Kirkby, England, was abducted from a shopping center by ten-year-olds Robert Thompson and Jon Venables. His body was found two days later on a railway line in nearby Walton. He had been beaten to death with bricks and iron bars.

The trial of Thompson and Venables began in November 1993; they were both sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum tariff of eight years. The case caused international outrage, with many people questioning how such young children could be capable of such a horrific crime. In 2001, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that the UK government had failed to protect Bulger’s right to life under the European Convention on Human Rights.

In 2010, after serving their minimum tariffs, Thompson and Venables were both released on parole with new identities. Since their release, there have been several reports of Thompson and Venables breaking the terms of their parole; in 2018 it was revealed that Venables had been recalled to prison for possessing child pornography.
